2024 Gifts for All God’s Children

The St. John Church & School family is once again partnering with Gifts for All God’s Children (GFAGC) to donate Christmas presents to at-risk and underprivileged children. GFAGC is a Rochester-based, non-profit and longtime mission partner of St. John. This year, St. John is sponsoring children from Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church (MTC) in Detroit.
We would love our St. John family to participate in this wonderful gift-giving opportunity.
The best way to get involved is to select an angel from the Giving Trees located in the Atrium and Church Lobby. Angels are available for single gifts or sponsoring a child’s entire Christmas wish list (six gifts).
In addition, an online signup has been created to sponsor a child’s entire wish list (six gifts). The wish list typically includes items like: hats/gloves, clothing, shoes or boots, a coat, pajamas, and a toy. To sponsor a child, please fill out the form below and we will email you with instructions.
Gift Instructions:
- Please wrap each gift individually. (Include batteries for any electronic toys.)
- Loosely attach printed ID tag to gifts, so they can be easily removed.
- Add an additional Christmas tag/sticker that reads:
- TO: Child’s Name
- FROM: Friend of Jesus
Delivery Instructions:
- Congregation / Church Families please bring your gifts to worship on Saturday, November 30 or Sunday, December 1.
- School Families please have your student(s) bring gifts to class on Wednesday, December 4 and they will take them to the altar during chapel.
