As a St. John Lutheran community we gather together to raise funds to celebrate our children’s education while building on a faith foundation.
On Friday, April 11, 2025, we will be holding the St. John Lutheran School Gala & Auction at Cherry Creek Golf Club in Shelby Township. The St. John Lutheran community will be coming together at this event with the purpose of raising funds for Scholarships and Tuition Assistance for St. John Lutheran School, Special Projects (athletics, classroom furniture, etc.), Technology Upgrades, and the St. John Parent Network (student and family enrichment activities).
Join us for an evening to celebrate and fundraise for our children to help build on their faith foundation. The evening will include dinner, drinks, a live auction, and a silent auction. Space is limited and tickets are sold on a first come basis!

The funds raised will be going towards the St. John Lutheran School Tuition Assistance Fund, Special Projects (athletics, classroom furniture, etc.), Technology Upgrades, and the St. John Parent Network (student and family enrichment activities).
The SJR Gala is a night for our community to come together as one during a night that includes appetizers, a plated dinner, drink tickets and dessert. There will also be a photo booth and music for guests to enjoy. There will be a silent auction and live auction to raise additional funds.
We suggest cocktail attire.
General Schedule:
6:00 PM: Doors Open, Check In & Registration, Hors d’oeuvres, Silent Auction Opens
7:45 PM: Call to Dinner, 1st Section of Silent Auction Table Closes
8:00 PM: Welcome Message, Blessing of the Meal, Dinner Served
8:30 PM: 2nd Section of Silent Auction Table Closes
8:45 PM: 3rd Section of Silent Auction Table Closes
9:00 PM: Live Auction Begins
9:45 PM: Live Auction Concludes, Closing Message & Prayer; Music to continue until 11:00 pm
11:00 pm: Evening concludes
The SJR Gala event provides us the opportunity to come together as one for a night of networking and fun within the parent community, while raising additional funds for the school to benefit our students and children.
At this time our auction items will be available for bidding on-site only. Donations to the Gala can be made without purchasing tickets.
